Wrap around 45 centimetres of silk dental floss around your middle fingers, leaving about 5 centimetres between them.
Grasp the floss between your thumb and index finger on both hands, creating a taut, straight segment.
Slide the floss between your teeth using a gentle back-and-forth motion, avoiding snapping it into your gums.
Curve the floss into a "C" shape: Curve the floss around the base of each tooth, reaching beneath the gumline to remove plaque and debris.
Glide the floss gently along the sides of both teeth, using a clean section for each tooth.
Use the same gentle back-and-forth motion to remove the floss from between your teeth.
Continue to floss all teeth: Repeat steps 3-6 for each tooth, including the back sides of your rear molars.
Compost the biodegradable silk floss or dispose of it in your regular waste bin, avoiding flushing it down the toilet.
